Your mission
As a highly skilled and meticulously organized Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services for our international projects and organization.
- Procurement and rental of audio-visual equipment for events like projectors, sound systems, light systems, media network equipment.
- Be a primary contact for all Procurement-related topics towards the projects and closely liaising with the project teams regarding project planning, budgets, strategies, any issues that might arise and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, advance, and implement procurement strategies for assigned projects in close collaboration with the respective project teams (e.g., cost-competitive sourcing, back-to-back agreements, project-specific pricing, etc.)
- Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, availability and delivery time.
- Qualify and develop suppliers as well as monitoring their performance.
- Place and track orders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Negotiate procurement terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships, proactively collaborating with project teams and other stakeholders within the organisation.
- Proactively identify and realize cost reduction and optimization opportunities.
- Manage risks related to procurement challenges.
- Identify and leverage industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuously enhance efficiency.
- Execute material inspections, quality assessments and coordinate with Logistics regarding packing, shipment and transportation lead times.
